Tosi Control Master Key Registration Guide


1. Overview

With Tosi Client (Key Desktop Software) version 4.4.0 and above, you must register your Master Key (or any of its Backup Keys) in Tosi Control to enable the essential capabilities of our platform, including visibility, management, and monitoring of your Tosi fleet.

Once you register a Master Key or any of its Backup Keys in Tosi Control, all other keys belonging to the same environment (family)will be automatically registered to that environment by the system. No additional registration is required for those keys.

If you don’t have a Tosi Control user account, you can create one.

If your organization already uses Tosi Control but you don’t yet have an account, please contact your administrators and ask them to invite you. You have 14 days to receive an invitation and register your keys.

After logging in, you will be taken to the Key Registration page.

You must choose one of the following options:

  1. Register the key to an existing organization (environment), or
  2. Create a new organization (environment)

5.1 When Should You Create a New Organization?

You should create a new organization if:

5.2 Registering to an Existing Organization

If you do not want to create a new organization:

Your unregistered Master Key will be automatically onboarded to the selected organization.

Click “Open Tosi Control” to verify the onboarded key.
Please note that gateways paired (serialized) with your key may take a few minutes to appear while data is being gathered.

5.3 Creating a New Organization

To create a new organization:

  1. Click “Create New Organization” on the Key Registration page.
  2. You will be redirected to the Organization Creation form.

5.3.1 Required Information

Other fields are optional, but completing them helps us provide better support and service.

Once all required fields are filled:

Click “Open Tosi Control” to view the onboarded key.
Please allow a few minutes for paired gateways to appear.

6. Subscription Plan

By default, a newly created organization is assigned the Essential subscription plan, which includes basic features.

7. Unregistering a Master Key to Enable Re‑Registration

If you need to register a master key again, you must first unregister the associated network from the relevant Tosi Control organization.

Follow the steps below based on the subscription plan of your organization.

7.1 Prerequisites

7.2 For Organizations on the Essential Plan

  1. Go to the Home page.
  2. Locate the relevant network card.
  3. Click the three‑dot (⋯) menu on the network card.
  4. Select Remove network.

This action unregisters the related master key from the Tosi Control organization.

7.3 For Organizations on Standard, Professional, or Enterprise Plans

  1. Go to the Networks page.
  2. Locate the relevant network in the list.
  3. Click the three‑dot (⋯) menu next to the network name (top‑left corner of the network entry).
  4. Select Remove network.

This action unregisters the related master key from the Tosi Control organization.

7.4 Result

Once the network is removed, the related master key is unregistered and can be registered again in Tosi Control.

Once you have access to Tosi Control, you can invite additional users.
